This pass week New York have passed a law that affects all affiliate in the state. For that reason, almost all companies are dropping us like flies. The law states that we are an extension of that company and therefore they are responsible for collecting sales tax on all orders of each affiliate.
I was notified by Shop NBC yesterday that because of the new law they have to drop me. A serious blow to all of us who make a living as an affiliate.
